Better salary after seventh pay scale
After the training is over, the constable starts getting salary as per the seventh pay scale. According to the reports, in the new pay scale of Pay Band 5200-20200 Grade Pay-2000, the pay matrix for the posts of Reserve Civil Police for men and women in Uttar Pradesh Police is Rs 21700. Apart from this, many types of allowances and other facilities are given separately. During service, apart from dearness allowance, travel allowance, house rent allowance, medical allowance etc., constables also get many other allowances and facilities.
Many opportunities for promotion
After being a soldier, there is not just one but many opportunities to shape your future. Constables who take out time from their jobs and prepare for competitive exams can get selected on a specific post. Many such examples have been seen in which candidates appointed to the post of constable have even passed the examinations of the Union Public Service Commission. Apart from this, constables are given promotion on the basis of fixed service period. After a service period of 8 years, a constable is promoted to the post of Head Constable, after a service period of 15 years, he is promoted to Sub Inspector and after completing 25 years of service, a constable is promoted to the post of Inspector. Since the age for applying for the post of constable is lower than other jobs, the youth get a service period of about 35 years.
